🔒 PhotoTask is built with privacy as a core principle. Your photos never leave your device unless you choose to upload them to your own Google Drive account.

2. What Data We Collect
- Photos — stored locally on your device. Uploaded to your Google Drive only when you create a task.
- Google account email — used only to authenticate with Google Calendar and Drive.
- Task data — title, date, time. Sent directly to the calendar app you choose.
- Trial start date — stored locally on your device only. Never leaves your device.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store photos on our servers
- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect analytics or behavioral data
- We do not share data with third parties for advertising
- We do not have our own backend server
4. How We Use Your Data
- Camera — to take photos within the app
- Google Sign-In — to authenticate with Google services
- Google Calendar API — to create calendar events on your behalf
- Google Drive API — to upload photos to your personal Drive
- OCR & Object Recognition — processed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. No photo data is sent to any server.
5. Google Services
PhotoTask uses Google Sign-In, Google Calendar API, and Google Drive API. Your use of these services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Storage & Security
- Photos stored in your device's private app cache, deleted when app is uninstalled
- Drive uploads go to your personal Google Drive under your control
- Google credentials never stored by PhotoTask — handled by Google's secure sign-in
- All API communication uses HTTPS encryption
7. Third-Party Applications
Task data can be sent to Todoist, Microsoft To Do, TickTick etc. via Android's standard sharing (Intent). PhotoTask has no access to your accounts in these apps.
8. Subscription & Payments
All payment processing is handled exclusively by Google Play. PhotoTask does not collect or store any payment information.
9. Children's Privacy
PhotoTask is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
